Timbers Jupiter recently sponsored the recovery of a loggerhead sea turtle named Scout, who suffered a severe boat strike in the waters near Port St. Lucie, and injury that could have been fatal if not for Loggerhead’s timely intervention.

Scout was rushed to Loggerhead’s veterinary hospital, where care teams worked to repair the damage caused by the boat strike. Thanks to the center’s diligent care, Scout made a remarkable recovery and was ready to return to the wild. In a heartwarming event, Scout was released back into the ocean, now equipped with his own satellite tracker.
