John Pizzarelli has had a multi-faceted career as a jazz guitarist, vocalist and bandleader. Internationally known for classic standards, late-night ballads, and the cool jazz flavor he brings to his performances and recordings. Pizzarelli is among the prime contemporary interpreters of the great American songbook, bringing to the work his signature style and brilliant guitar playing. He has been featured on major recordings along with artists such as James Taylor, Natalie Cole, Rosemary Clooney, Donna Summer and Roberta Flack, and for this show, with his wife Jessica Molaskey, a veteran of a dozen Broadway shows including the revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Sunday in the Park with George, which was nominated for nine Tony Awards. Jessica recently played opposite Ms. McDonald, as Sister Bertha in the NBC live version of The Sound Of Music. She and her husband have a weekly radio show called Radio Deluxe which airs in sixty cities around the United States and in Canada. Live at the Royal Room Cabaret.
